Beijing International Music Festival & Academy

OVERVIEW

Established in 2004, Beijing International Music Festival & Academy (BIMFA) is the first and the only annual international summer music festival of its kind today in the People’s Republic of China. Open to Pianists, String Players and Flutists of all nationalities, BIMFA brings together established performing artists, pedagogues and serious music students from around the world in a unique collaboration in music to promote high-level teaching, performance and cultural harmony. In addition, BIMFA’s extensive cultural and excursion programs offer participants multiple opportunities for exploration and discovery in the ancient land of China

           

VENUE

The 2010 Festival will take place on the campus of the prestigious Music School of the Central Conservatory in Beijing for 2 weeks. Participants will reside in the conservatory guesthouse, which is equipped with air-conditioning and private bathroom with shower. Two to three participants will share a room and three meals are served daily in BIMFA cafe/restaurant
